October POG meeting

The POG meeting for October will take place on Thursday October 3rd, we will be meeting in the KTM building Amherst, Ohio. The meeting will commence at 7pm.

If you have some photos for Randy to consider for the 2014 POG calendar please bring them along, Randy will be on hand and he is anxious to get started with the calendar. The theme for the 2014 calendar is "back in the day", so don't hesitate to bring along those pictures that show your first ride on that Steel Tanker or ........

As always, you don't have to be a POG member to attend. If you live close enough to make the trip and have never attended a meeting I would encourage you to attend. We always have a really good time and some very interesting folks are known to just drop in and some very interesting historic stories get told....we also do a bit of business as needed

Just a note to say how much fun it always is to get together for our meetings and visit with all the folks. The folks at KTM could not be kinder and more accommodating to our group. When I call them to confirm our meeting date I refer to us as the AARP/POG folks

 Many stories have been told about how the locals would gather at the Penton Brothers shop "back in the day" on certain evenings, and at times it seems like we are just a continuation of that tradition. There is so much history within the minds of the folks in that room, it is a real pleasure to just be in their midst for the evening.

In today's internet world folks the world over can be in constant contact, both by word and by video, but to me there is nothing that can compare to the genuine feelings of camaraderie and friendship that coming together for a meeting such as ours bring about.
