Hi all,
I'm ready to put the Ceriani shocks off of a Steel Tanker back together, but not sure about the amount of oil to use.
The shaft with the damping piston and all go inside a tube, and that tube goes inside the body.
 Amount, method, weight..??
Any help is appreciated.

Rob , I have rebuild specs I could give you a call; first need to find it .

Start with70cc, 10w Belray, put them together and compress and extend them a few times.  If you hear or feel air pockets in them, add a bit more oil and do the same until pleased with the damping.

Thank you Kip, and LG for giving me some info on this. I ended up going with 100cc of fluid. Or filling the inner damping cylinder to the top, then inserting the guts, and screw together. Good on rebound - not much for compression. Thanks again
