Hi,

I was looking for, or wanting to replace a 1974 Penton Berkshire.

I started racing MX in the mini bike class in the early 70s on a steen. I had worked the summer of '72 to save enough money to put a super rat engine in it. In the Spring of '74 I purchased the Berkshire.(frame #40473281) It was like going from a worn out VW to a Cadillac. I raced it along with a 175cc and 250cc(all Pentons) in '74 and '75.

In February of 1983 my Berkshire was stolen from my house and it is yet to be recovered. I have many fond memories of this bike and would like to find or replace it. I'm looking for a quality original bike.  Anyone that could help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rick Penno

That will run you about 2k to 5k  depending on the barn or showroom you find one in.

Hi Rick,

If I am not mistaken we had a talk about a week ago. Welcome to the Penton Owners Group website, and good luck with your search. Do you by chance have any pics of you and the bike from "back in the day" ?

Again, welcome aboard,
Paul
