Worth a $1 and a dream. Similar to one I picked up out of NW Pa, too rusty to salvage much.

Back in the 90's, I salvaged over 20 frames like that.  Just cut off what was good and tossed the rest.

I know it's not, but in a case like this....should make sure it's not V004 before it's put out of it's misery.

I wonder what his reserve is? In looking at the remains, the center stand is still intact, the number plates on both sides are still in their original position, chain guard is in place and doesn't look beat up. The bike looks like it wasn't totally thrashed and THEN left outside to rust. Stuff like this makes me wonder what goes through peoples minds when they decide to shove a bike to the side of the shed. Someone here on the list rescued a frame like this that served as the donor of the foot peg assembly for my brother's '71 Berkshire. He said it was similar to the steel tanker Paul Danik found with a tree growing through the frame? I would like to hear that story some day! I think this one is a '69 or '70? But I agree with Rob, find out what the frame number is  before it's too late. If it was local to me, I would risk 100 bucks to save it and maybe part out what is still useable.
