Michael.
  We were going to bring down our new enclosed trailer, but we got rear-ended last night 2 blocks from the trailer dealer..
 50mph, no brakes... The guy said he was reaching for his ringing phone....  I think he was reading text or something.  We were stopped and waiting on traffic...Lucky he swerved hard and only caught the corner of the trailer.  But it is most likely totaled.. The dealer says he thinks its cheaper to build me another one..
 So we will be pulling my homemade open trailer down.. But will have a new tow rig...  Its kinda BIG... And boxy....  And gets horrible gas milage....   But we are preparing for retirement and this rig is what we will be living in for a while..

Gosh - you can't make this stuff up, huh?  What a bummer, Mr. Bean.

Looks like a great XC course on the video.  Would love to go, but...it's at least 7 hours away one way. I know - not a big deal for some, but for me at 11 mpg with loaded/ennclosed trailer like Mr. Bean just totaled (sorry), I can only budget one or two of THOSE racing trips a year.

And on THAT note - kinda bummed that they have linked these events to the Mid-Ohio VMD championships.  Which is one of those 7 hour drives that I DO budget for.  I lost sight of that last year. I think I had won either an XC or an MX class at VMD and the Nice Ladies handed me my trophy/placard before mounting the podium. I then reached over and grabbed the National Champion Hat and National Champion clear polycarbonate placard from her and she pulled them back.  We tugged back and forth a few times before I realized/remembered that VMD is part of a series.  Felt quite foolish, thank you very much.

Then had to make urgent call to newspapers and have them pull my press releases...

Will be there for the 100 class if I get these forks finished and a couple of other issues dialed.  Time is short.  Saturday and Sunday look like little to no chance of rain now.

I'd love to go as I raced there a few years back when AHRMA stopped in.  I'm still finishing little league up here in Indy so hopefully by the end of June my race schedule will open back up.

Change of plans.. Mother nature threw us a curve ball tonight.  Big storm blew thru, Took out a big maple in our front yard.  Shingles blown off our roof and lost a gazebo on our back deck.. Our neighbors had several big pines, blown over roots and all. I saw on the news, that a big area around us had storm damage.
   So I lost tonight's planned service work on the bikes, and most likely tomorrows as well...
  So gonna have to switch up what bikes I had planned on riding..
Plan B !
