Unfortunately, I was not able to open the site for the interview of The John Penton Story.

I have tried 3 times, but I will try again later in the day.

Tried again this AM and all I get is a blank black screen, which is more than I got yesterday.  I am running the current version of Adobe Flash Player.  I get no messages.

I will try later today.

Tony,

I just downloaded an updated version of Adobie Flash and was finally able to watch Toni doing an unbelievable job promoting the John Penton movie.

Toni,

Awesome job...:D  Hope the movie viewing went well last night.

Lucky enough to have attended last night, lots of familiar faces and tons of smiles, as others have said "Fastest 2 1/4 hours ever"
Toni and Gary did a splendid job hosting, and how fitting was the light drizzle that greeted us when the movie was over, perfect 'mud-running' weather, even learned a few things, great flick!

Here are a few photos from the Vienna, WV viewing.

We had a great turnout, with over 200 patrons showing up. The youngest being about 8 years old, and the oldest was 96.

Toni did an awesome job of promoting and organizing the event, so everything went smoothly (as usual). Our local Tucker Rocky Distributing Rep Tim Queen was there, and he gave away several nice door prizes after the movie (thanks Tim). Toni also gave away some of her Penton stickers as door prizes as well.

We had the families of at least two different deceased Penton dealers in attendence, which I thought was really nice. We also had ISDE Trophy Team member Thad Duvall (who appears in the film) in attendence. Rod Bush grew up in the same city that the movie was shown in, so I know that some of his old riding buddies where there too.

I put my '74 Six Day on display in the lobby, and Toni dressed up our Josh McCoy mannequin in vintage gear, and we put him beside the bike. If was really neat to see how many people wanted to have their photo taken with Josh and the bike...including my Mom!

This photo is of Toni, and one of my heros growing up, Denny Swartz. Denny lives in our area, and was a Factory Maico rider. He is the last rider to ever win a National Motocross for the brand when he won the 500cc class at the 1980 Red Bud National in Buchannon, MI.

Several of my own family members were in attendence so that they could see this photo of my late Dad which appears in the movie. This was a bike that he bought from Rod Bush. I still have his Bultaco jersey!!
