Looks like a pretty nice tank. If it were to end up on a "bobber or rat bike" that would be a sin! If i were closer to it, I would buy just to save it, sit on it a while until I found some one needing a woodsman tank and flip it for a few bucks profit. Save it from a fate worse than the junk yard!

Thanks for your response. I thought a lot about what you said while I was conducting a DIP class in Martinsville. I drove past my now closed and empty dealership on the way back, and I considered important things in life. After all the #$%^%&& of shuttering a big dealership, I still get a lot of enjoyment from being around Pentons and the POG. I just couldn't stand the thought of it going on a rat bike. You are correct in that would have been a sin! I called that guy when I passed through Roanoke. It was still available, so I grabbed it. It still had some very stinky gas in it - whew! I am also looking at a Hi-Point trailer in good shape. Both will be for sale if anyone knows anyone who knows anyone who is looking
