I just missed a steel tanker, a sixday and a jackpiner, all ran for 800 bucks!!  Sounds too good to be true. Did a fellow Pogger get these?

Did anyone buy the spray painted 1978 KTM 400 for $800 that was on Marks Swap meet in Colorado Springs? It has one MX-6 side panel, which I believe is actual correct late 78-early 79 model only produced for a very short run while new frames were being re-ran for the new 79 model due to a Chrome Moly order mixup for the 79 frames. I was told this info by an individual I spoke with, and don't recall his name unfortunately at breakfast of the ISDTRR in 2006. He was at the factory and saw the pile of bad incorrect material frames when they were at the factory.
The only bad thing it is a 250 according to the engine ID #'s not a 400 and I told him that after he emailed me the info. Mike
