Humm, ever wish you could make/refresh your Penton gearbox, I found this place in Florida, they specialize in prepping special drag racing gearboxes....Murdock Racing is able to regrind the dogs on most undercut dogs. They will magna-flux the gears looking for cracks and give you the better part of their experience. I had my 400 done and it really works. A note to the wise....the Penton manual makes special note about replacing the grip rings on the transmission shafts, this done to ensure a very tight fit with regards to the moving parts of the transmission; of note as well, buy yourself a Starret v-block, it has machined surfaces ground to 90 degrees square....good to check the shift forks...about $18.00....Murdock's prices are not cheap, then again, never is the price of quality !
