I remember a fantastic photo of Danny LaPorte on a red 250 Hare Scrambler at Hopetoun or an event like that that was published in Dirt Bike or Dirt Rider. Does anybody have a copy?

Bill, are you sure it was LaPorte? Cant remember him ever on a 250.

Not totally sure because I am going on my memory. Just said he turned up to the event on a hot 250 with a GP frame. There was a great fairly close up photo of the rider doing a right hand turn. My memory could be a little off.

I recently saw a photo from the '73 AMA pro qualifier at Bay Mare in CA, muddy starting line with a rider on a yellow 250 with a red Mettco shirt, and the number 352, which was LaPorte's first pro number. And I still don't know how to post pictures here!
