It is with great sadness that we tell of the passing of Joan Borer. Joan, wife of Jim, and mother of John, Joseph, and the late Jeffrey, was a fixture at our monthly POG meetings along with her family and will be greatly missed.

At numerous POG meetings we would have three generations of the Borer family in attendance. The round table in the corner is unofficially their table for each POG meeting.

The link below is to Joan's obituary.

I'm very sorry to hear this, my thoughts are with Jim, John, and their family. Since my earliest association with the Penton Owners Group, the Borer family (Dad & mom, sons & wifes, and their children) stood out to me to be a uniquely special, close knit, and fun part of this group, with generations of motorcycle history, and knowledge. Very much of it connected to the Penton motorcycle, and family. They have had to endure some difficult times lately with the loss of Jeff, and Joan. I wish them all the very best in getting through these hard, sad days. My thoughts are with you.
