This is the first trailer/promo for the forthcoming film about the Catalina Grand Prix. The film is produced and directed by Todd Huffman (PENTON: The John Penton Story) and his Pipeline Digital Media Group. It will be distributed theatrically by Gathr Film and should be out in December of 2015 or early 2016. More info eventually will be available at catalinagrandprixmovie.com.

How cool is that? I'll be sure and visit Kickstarter to "kick in".  But here is my question:  why hasn't the race happened again? I have family in SoCal and I swore I would not miss this if it happened again...

2nd question is - will it happen again?  If it does, I hope to be there on a Penton!  (paging Victor Monz....).
