Beautiful restoration...top quality workmanship..

But my sense is the alloy top end is not quite "correct" for a 1968 steel tanker with early vin V384.
I owned V976 when I was young...iron barrel...butch head.
I own V1225 now...still iron barrel...still butch head.

Looks like he made the correction at the bottom of the description.

This moron would happen to be me.  Just be careful.  Skip

-To my knowledge, the ONLY Significant "Incorrect" part on this machine: the Air Cleaner Assembly (which is later a '69-'71 style).

AND these are not significant???
Cylinder and head too large
No exhaust heat shield;
Wrong shocks with no covers;
Seat cover wrong;
Wrong clutch and brake lever assys;
Six bolt hub instead of correct 4 bolt
No choke lever or cable
Center stand (repop) has bent legs not straight

Looks like a lot of nice original steel tankers on eBay recently (3 each).  Would make very nice bikes with some TLC.  Easy restorations with most of the valuable parts included.  Would go after all of them myself but just bought an original 1969 402cc Jawa ISDT Banana for restoration.
