Hi guys,

I just noticed this one on Craigslist. I don't know the person, but I will be glad to help with pickup and storage if needed.

I was just about to list the bike here but i see someone got it on for me, Would love to sell this bike to someone that will restore it and enjoy it and thanks for the year info i was having a hard time with year and model. Open to offers on the bike it not something i collect just ran across it when i was buying a few other old bikes and didn't want to leave it behind.

It would make a nice Christmas present for someone that's for sure!!
I'm kinda curious if those are  ceriani or marzocchi front forks and when did they change?
I'm a bit blind and the pics well you know the rest...

Those are the last year (76), of the Ceriani straight leg forks. The 35mm ones in fact with the front rib running down the fork legs are usually the 220mm travel ones. MC5 models in 76 sometimes had Ceriani leading axle forks as well, but most went to the Marzocchi forks, and later models all had Marzocchi's. Mike

Patton

I purchased this motorcycle  from Jason Lord in Winston /Salem this past weekend. Jason is a nice guy, and like he said in the post, he could not walk away from the seller several months ago. It now has a place in my shop and I'm going to clean the carb and tank and see if it'll start up. Then just do some cowtrailing with the bike in its 40 year glory.

The other two Penton's  (a '74 125 and a '72 175)I have purchased will be garage queen bikes with powdercoated frames, polished nuts, you get the picture.

Wish me luck.
