There is a new Motorcycle Museum that just opened in Carmel Valley California on August 25th. We were in the bay area of California this past week and stopped by for a visit. The Museum was started by Russ Talbott and Bobby Weindorf and currently has 120 vintage motorcycles. Its organized as a nonprofit with all proceeds going to charity.

Russ Talbott is an avid motorcyclist and has been collecting bikes for many years. He was previously the owner of the Talbott vineyards and recently sold his operation to Gallo. Now that he has more time he is pursuing his motorcycle passion full time. Russ was not at the museum when we visited but Bobby gave us a great tour. In addition to the many vintage Harleys, Indians, Ducatis, Moto Guzzis, BMW's, etc. they have a Penton Trials. I encouraged Bobby to add some more Pentons as they continue to grow their collection. They have a web site where you can check them out at mototalbott.com

Stop by for a look when your in the area.
