Can anyone tell how to set the timing on a 79
ktm 250 without a timing light. Thanks, Carl

You need a Motoplat pin and a dial indicator with a spark plug hole adapter. You leave the ign somewhat loose and adjust to the proper setting with the pin stuck in through the small hole in the flywheel and into the timing hole on the stator plate.
