I am taking a stab at rebuilding a set of the original Fox gas shocks (not the air shocks).
I have done some research including on this site.
All roads seem to lead to Thor Lawson. A few years back some members experienced delivery problems (delays) on rebuilds from him.
Is he still in business? Has anybody dealt with him recently? (website is accessible so I am guessing yes).
At this point what I am aiming to do is simply order a rebuild kit.
Any response or suggestions are appreciated.

Hello Mike,   You can check with Phil at RCM,  he does a  lot  with Fox shox

I have had good luck with both companies. Thor is usually pretty quick with seals and such. Sometimes takes a while if he has to machine parts.

I had three sets done by Thor and all three failed after only a few races. He repaired one set for free and they failed again. One set took over a year to be returned to me. I am using them on Honda SL, XL, and C & J frames. If you find someone to get the job done, please post here. Phil at RCM makes shafts that Thor uses. Just my two cents.
