Bearings, Tires, Rims & Hubs

I have some questions that I thought I'd put into one message.

1.  Is the 16005 Sachs mainshaft bearing, Sachs Part No. 2732 006 000, the same or interchangeable with the 16005 C3 SV 41 KTM clutch basket bearing, Penton Part No. 0625 160050?  I have a couple left over from Sachs rebuilds that I'd like to use for my 250, if possible.

2.  Other than paying 80 bucks for an NOS Metzeler 3.50x18 knobby, what have you all used for 100cc Berkshires?  

3.  Is a WM-2x18" the correct rear rim for Sachs Pentons?

4.  I need to find or build a rear wheel for my '74 Berkshire project.  Do the black magnesium rear 100/125 hubs use the large or small sprocket carrier rubbers?

Glen....try this website for some tires. They offer the Metzelers but also a Cheng Shin that I think is pretty close to what you want....and at a good price.

The answer to question #4 is, black hubs can have either the small or large rubber cushions, from what I have seen.

16005 C3 bearing has slightly bigger radial play(in this size, the difference is only a few thousandths of a mm)to compensate heat expansion. So it gives a safety margin, when things get hot. I would use standard 16005 bearing in both applications, though.

All 74 magnesium hubs use the large cush drive rubbers.  If you paint an aluminum hub no one but you will know the difference.
