January POG Meeting....Happy New Year

Greetings,

   The first POG meeting of 2019 will take place on Thursday January 3rd. at the KTM building Amherst, Ohio beginning at 7 pm. As always, any interested parties are invited to attend. Membership is not a requirement to attend any POG function.

    So, what were we doing 20 years ago you might be wondering !!!!!

    The January of 1999 Penton Owners Group meeting took place on January 4th, and was held at KTM. The membership report stated that the Penton Owners Group had 123 members at that time.

   In attendance were Alan Buehner, Paul Danik, Norm Miller, Al Born, Jack Penton, Bob Albright, John Born, James Borer and John Penton. Special guests listed were Judy Danik, Gigi Penton and Ollie Martin.

   Preparations were underway for the POG banquet that was going to be held on January 23rd at the Veranda Restaurant located in Amherst, Ohio with a cash bar at 5 pm and dinner at 6.

   Plans were in the works for Alan Buehner and John Penton to drive to California to set up a POG display at Vintage Days West taking place on April 17th. and 18th.

   A goal was set to have a Penton Owners Group website up and running by fall.

   Issue #2 of Still....Keeping Track was in the works.
