Dang Paul just ruined my ego when I found out that 450 Husky was geared for 65 mph! It still took me 4 or 5 tries to get around him! But it sure felt good when I finally made it![]

    Thanks for sharing your enduro memory. Riding an endruo sure was a day filled with adventures. I'll bet that when you were smokin that Husky on that logging road you never thought it would be a topic of conversation almost 45 years later.

    Possibly when you watch On Any Sunday and the scene is shown where Malcolm is passing guys on that curvy mountain road your mind goes back to your own similar adventure...

Paul I remember most beginer/novice dirt bike riders were pron to gear the bike way to low. That included me! It took me a couple of years to get it right! As you say the correct gearing is very important especialy for the 125cc bikes! Nothing more fun than passing an open bike on a 125 PENTON:D
