Has anyone dealt with Andy At ACE pipes recently.Talked to him on the phone about building a pipe for a 74 250.Two days later nothing but a answering machine and no return call.Really don't think it will pan out. So,on the hunt for a aftermarket pipe or a beat up pipe I can mod to my needs. Thanks

Joe, I have the front section of an MC5 250 pipe only missing the silencer in the rear that you can probably make work for an earlier bike by changing the mid Mount above the engine. I will be in your area Sunday before Christmas if you would like to try it. Mike Winter

It has been several years since I dealt with Andy but was always smooth before but he was always a little tough to connect with.  The MC5 pipe Mike mentions is a better power builder than the Ace however if that part matters.  The Ace is a bit flat on top in my mind.

Andy built me nice 250 pipe for my 1975 Hare Scrambler. Got it in fall of 2018.  Was inexpensive compared to reproductions. It took awhile, he built me the pipe without a deposit, I just would text him and he would get back with me.  I'm thinking about having him build a pipe for my 1972 six days next. I wouldn't hesitate working with him again unless you are in a rush.
