Greetings,

As many of you know, POG Trustee Larry Maiers has worn many hats over the years. Just click on the link below to see Larry in action in one of the roles that he filled so very well which brought the world of motorcycling into everyone's living room in such a positive manner.

"Back in the day", before the advent of world wide instant news brought about mainly by the internet, Larry's weekly show was a not to be missed weekly event. I know for me personally, when cable TV became available where I live the first thing I checked when we finally got hooked up was if we could get the channel that Larry was on, and fortunately we did !

Recently at the Piston Power Show I was walking with Larry to check out a restored Penton when the owner of the machine recognized Larry from TV, and insisted on getting Larry's photo with the Penton. Larry is very humble about his fame, but rest assured it is very much deserved.

Morning Paul,
I cannot tell you what a DREAM it has been getting to know both you and Mr. Maiers. Since I've become a member of the POG several years, back both of you along with many others have been very welcoming to me. Never once making me feel like an outsider. I feel so privileged to have gotten to know everyone from Mr. Penton on down. I enjoy how Larry has old Motocross tales to tell and you always prodding Mr. Penton for stories untold.

Thanks Jim
