Was the Monark ISDT common in USA during the 70's? They where rater common here in sweden beacuse they where made here. The engine is the same Sachs. Does anybody know if there are other components they share with Penton. For ex: fork, hubs, brakes?

The ISDT Monark was sold here but not that many.  Monark was a lesser seller all total and there were alot more MX models sold than ISDT.  The motor was virtually the same Sachs and shares most all the same engine parts.  The forks were 32mm Ceriani but the triple trees and the lower legs were different than the Penton.  The hubs were Sachs hubs and were different than the Penton.  If ever needed I still have a good amount of NOS Monark parts including alot of the enduro stuff(headlight, tailight, wiring, switches, hub parts, etc.).
