Does anyone have a source for the pins/clips that hold the seat trim on the side of CMF bikes???

Carl,
I've been making my own attach bolts to use on the seat trim strips. It's kinda a caveman method but has always worked for me. See the attached picture. The original attach bolt (far left) is 3mm x 0.6mm thread pitch and approx 10mm in length with the top being elongated and thin enough to easily slide into the channel on the back of the seat trim strip. Basically what I have been doing is buying some new 3mm x 0.6mm round headed screws that are 10-12mm in length (center). I clamp these new screws into a pair of needle nose vicegrips and then place the edge of the screw head against the anvil portion of my bench vice. Using a small hammer, I then strike the screw head a few times to basically flatten/elongate the screw head to the same width needed to slide into the channel on the seat trim strip (far right). The screw head at this point will be too thick and so I simply use a grinder to shave it down to the thickness needed to slide into the channel on the seat trim strip. It's a crude method that works for me and you'll never see the part that slides into the seat trim anyway so a win-win in my opinion. Hope this helps !

I have used the same method as Dave M. with good results. Enduroklassiker.at has both the short and long aluminum seat trims including hardware reproduced in Italy I believe, reasonably priced
