The December meeting of the Penton Owners Group is the NOT TO BE missed Family Night extravaganza. Our usual monthly meeting night is the first Thursday of the month, however, we will be meeting on the second Thursday, December 12th instead, at a very interesting venue.
We will be gathering in the Hickory Tree Grange building located in the Historic Sandstone Village, operated by the Amherst Historical Society. The address is 763 Milan Avenue, Amherst, Ohio 44001. Most of you are familiar with the location of the KTM building. If you exited the KTM building and turned left, the Sandstone Village is just down the street on your left. The Sandstone Village is decorated for Christmas and you will surely want to take a few minutes and drive through it, it is like driving through a Hallmark movie set ! The Hickory Tree Grange building is located at the entrance of the Sandstone Village and will be easily recognized.

The evening's festivities will begin with some social time from 6:30 to 7:00 pm, the meeting will begin at 7pm. The POG will provide pizza, water, coffee and the needed items such as plates, napkins and such. Many attendees bring along a dish or desert of some sort to be shared, but that is most certainly not mandatory.

Some of the very special guests who plan on attending are Mike Lafferty, 8 time National Enduro Champion and recent Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee. The creator of the John Penton Movie, Todd Huffman, as well as two of the toughest guys to ever throw a leg over a Penton Sportcycle, Kevin Lavoie and Frank Gallo. Larry Maiers and Jack Penton attend most every meeting and will surely be there as well. Check out the video linked below with 3-time Blackwater 100 winner Kevin Lavoie.

OK you old enduro riders, set your watch for a ketime of 6:30 for meet and greet with the meeting getting off the line at 7. Set your GPS for 763 Milan Avenue, Amherst, Ohio 44001 and most certainly mark your calendar for Thursday December 12th...  We were hoping to get this listed in the Cycle News calendar of events, but no one seems to be answering their phone anymore.

Hope to see you there.
