How would you like to stand at an original workbench from the historic Penton R & D building shown in the photo? The likes of Dane Leimbach, Doug Wilford, Johnny Cobb, Ted Penton, J.D. Slater and surely many more folks tore Sachs engines apart and repaired them at this workbench, and surely numerous ISDT Pentons were prepared at this bench as well, if only it could talk!

How would you like to see a toolbox labeled DANE PENTON LEIMBACH SPECIAL TOOLS.
Or a toolbox labeled PENTON R & D SHOP BOX.

Or the actual antique radio that sat on the bench.
Or how about an amazing shipping crate that Ted Penton made for his daughter made from an actual PENTON SPORTCYCLE shipping crate.
With my grandson's help, yesterday, we started to load these items onto the trailer for their trip to Mid-Ohio where they will be displayed in PENTONVILLE. The next stop after PENTONVILLE will be the Mungenast CLASSIC BIKE HEADQUARTERS Museumin in Union, Missouri where they will be displayed in the PENTON ROOM that Ray Mungenast and his helpers are putting together.

I was bound and determined to bring 10 pentons to the Pentonville display to cover a decade of John Penton's 100 years, but a few of them will be staying home to allow me to haul these items to PENTONVILLE.

Please feel free to look at and touch these items, hopefully some vibes from "days gone by" and the Penton greats who worked with these items at the workbench will help to fuel your Penton Passion. And trust me, these folks were and are all Penton Greats, and as John Penton often has said, " IT IS ABOUT THE PEOPLE".
