n 2013, Producer/Director Todd Huffman interviewed John Penton for the film "PENTON, The John Penton Story" narrated by Grammy Winner, Lyle Lovett. John was 88 at the time. In December of 2024 he interviewed him again for the new film "Blackwater: 50 Years of GNCC Racing" 4th KTM North America's Amherst, OH facility in John's hometown. He was 99 then. Here are some excerpts that won't be in the movie of John Penton being John Penton in honor of his 100th birthday on August 19th, 2025. Enjoy this American and Global Treasure.
At 12:00am John Penton will reach a milestone that we all hope to even get close to...100 years old.
