The Art of the Motorcycle Exhibition will open at the all-new Guggenheim Las Vegas on September 17,2001, and run for a period of at least six months; possibly longer.  For the first time the exhibition will include a Penton motorcycle, recommended by curatorial advisor Ed Youngblood because of its significant influence on off-road riding in America. The Penton on display will be a 1973 Penton Jackpiner owned by POG member Dave Marinaro. The exhibition will be the most spectacular yet, with several first-time features, including a collection or rare original motorcycle posters dating back to the beginning of the century.  The Art of the Motorcycle Exhibition has been seen by over a million people in its previous venues in New York, Chicago, and Bilboa, Spain.  It is anticipated that more than a million more will tour the Las Vegas version.
The above information was supplied by Ed Youngblood.  Ed has outdone himself with this  project. I am sure that I speak for Penton owners and enthusiasts everywhere in thanking Ed for all he has done for the POG and in promoting motorcycling in general for many, many years.  THANKS ED!!!!!!
