If you could have only ONE Penton and you wanted to be competitive in the AHRMA what bike would you choose? O'yea  you weigh 180 and your 50+ in fair to good shape.?

Blue Dog,
Gotta be a '75 250.  You can mount the shocks standard and race vintage sportsman one day, then lay them down the next day for post-vintage historic!  Double your pleasure, double your fun!

Rocket,
Is this your featured bike from January?  What for sale section are you talking about?

This is a different bike that I just finished with.  I posted it forsale on this site in the Wanted/Forsale section.  I have some digital pictures if you are interested.

An interesting topic to discuss, If I where your age, which I am, what would I seek out???? The vintage scene is strong, however realize that suspension comes into play. The tracks also have a fair amount to offer in the for-mentioned topic. I am enjoying the Post Vintage class for senior riders, as I have ridden both, as my body is telling me to slow down, I do go faster on a PV Penton, preferrably an MC5 in 76/77 or 78 400cc configuration as they remain competetive against the competetion....
Good Luck in your ambitions.....
