The Blue Ridge Pathfinders Motorcycle Club will host their first Vinduro (Vintage Enduro) Trail Ride/Swap Meet & Bike Show at Brushy Mountain Motor Sports Park near Taylorsville, North Carolina on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27.  The event is open to riders of both vintage, post vintage, and modern bikes alike.  THIS MEANS YOU!

This will be a VERY INFORMAL gathering of vintage trail bike enthusiasts, members of the Blue Ridge Pathfinders Motorcycle Club, friends and family, allowing participants to ride the trails at their leisure in a non-competitive atmosphere.  Vintage riders should find the 40 miles of trail quite accommodating.  Although there are some spectacular altitude changes along the course, the trails there are so new that very few suspension taxing whoops, roots and rock ledges have formed yet.  Besides, if the trail gets too rough or eroded, the staff uses their Sweco Trail Dozer and other equipment to make repairs.  The North Carolina Hare Scramble Association held a Hare Scramble at the park shortly after it opened in November and voted the course "Track of the Year".  You can take a look at the facility at http://bmmspark.com/

Participants can also bring vintage bikes, parts, accessories to sell or swap.

All of the vintage and post vintage bikes will be judged by their peers with the crowd favorite winning a subscription to Vintage Motocross and Dirt Bike Quarterly (VMX) Magazine.

You can join us for dinner at the park on Saturday night (we're still trying to decide whether to have Spaghetti, chilli, or hot dogs and hamburgers), followed by vintage dirt bike movies to be shown using a VHS video projector.  On Any Sunday, Bad Rock, On Any Sunday II, Time Rider, Malcolm, Motocross & More...On Any Sunday Revisited are on the playbill.  Thanks to the Unifour Trail Bike Club we'll have a large enclosed tent for dinner & movies, but, you'll need to bring your on lawn chair and stake your claim for dinner and the movies.  Although we have not finalized details on the meal, we will try to keep the cost as low as possible.  I welcome your menu suggestions for the meal.

All other meals are available from the parks on site grill.

At $12.50 per day, participants receive a 50% discount on the daily fee for riding, which is normally $25.00 per day.

Camping spots at the park are available for the special event at a charge of $10.00 per night each.
