Does any one have any tricks to keeping thier polished aluminum parts free from corrosion. I live in SE GA and with the high humidity parts like my fork sliders corrode very quickly. Should I use wax or some other type of protectant. I do not want to clear coat the alloy parts. Thanks

I use a product called Diamond Coat sold through Eastwood, the car restoration supplies outfit. They have both a gloss and semigloss finish that is good up to 300 deg. F. I use it on bare aluminum engine parts, rims, etc. with good results. If you have highly polished (mirror like) surfaces, good old fashioned wax should do the trick.
