We just received the parts to modify a 125 pipe to Carl Cranke's 100 mx specs. We used Air Cone to make the pieces out of 18 gauge. The order took 4 weeks to be delivered. The workman ship is first rate. The cost was as follows.
2 Piece cone set $42 ( straight section , rear cone )
1 stinger $4.85
Seam weld on the cone and center section $9.95
Weld all three pieces together $17.45
Shipping $10.00
Best way to order from them is to fax a price request to them.
The when you know the cost get them a credit card # for payment.
Communication was hard. It took us 4 calls because we used the computer as a fax machine and were not sure they got the fax.
We didn't want the pieces welded together so we could have saved $ 17.45 but in this case it wont matter when we do the assembly to stock pipe welds.
Looks like they are a viable vendor for cones if you can wait 4 weeks. The price is ok. If some one in the group can find a local sheet metal shop that can do the pieces for a pipe, please post their # so we can have at least one more vendor to draw on.

Lets us know you thoughts,
John & Peter
