Any 250s out there?

Hi fellow POGGERs.  I'm looking at riding the 250 class a little and was wondering if anyone had a '74 or '75 bike available.  Since I ride the AHRMA circuit I can probably arrange to pick up a bike or meet someone somewhere in between.  If anyone happens to see one relatively race-ready please let me know.  Thanks and, as always, GO PENTON!

Dave, I have an MX 250 1974 (red), is on its first bore, comes with Works Perf. rears and excellent tires too, ready to race, I'm in Denver etc....

I have a 74 MX that is restored, thinking 1st bore, have to check my paperwork.  I live north of Peoria, IL. about 75 miles.  Am I correct in thinking you live on the eastern side of the state?

Dave, I have a '74 250 on 1st over piston, runs like a champ, not cosmetically perfect, needs nothing to go racing, took 1st in Vintage class in China Hat ISDT over modern bike terrain 2 months ago. In Portland, OR. $1300 if you're interested. Thanks... Jon

No Mike, I haven't given up.  We must have  set some sort of record for playing phone tag.  The 250 motor I have will eventually go in the GS frame and be sold.  I still need your expert advice on putting the "Lucas" motor together.
