Anybody used Penton Imports lately for a motoplat test? If so, what was the costs and turn around time? I'm getting a weak spark from my 77 400gs6 and I figure they would be able to test the system.

Any other suggestions?

Steve,
here is a short cut with their prices.

if you have cleaned all the conections and have a new or good spark plug cap on they are your best bet. the backing plate to engine contact should be bare metal with just some silicone grease to keep it from goin bad. you can use a small stainless steel wire brush on the mag cases to make sure. then use the grease and re-install it. same way with all your grounds. cut the coil to spark plug wire back 1/4 inch or so and put a new non resistive cap on. check all your plug in connections and any screw type connections.

John......Thanks as always. I'm going to try to crank it this weekend...for the first time in over 15 years. So I'm trying to get everything set....or close to being set.

Kill button attaches to the blue pigtail wire coming off the coil....right?
