Just rebuilt an original Bing carb from a 1974 250. Where should I set the throttle stop screw and air adjusting screw to get the bike started?  I think I can handle the fine tuning once it's running - but any suggestions are most welcome! Thanks in advamce.

william, the idle adjust is not as critical as the mixture, for the idle, eyeball the slide thru the carb from the big end and turn the big thumbwheel(screw) until you see daylight, turn 1/8 turn from there should get it close. The mixture is a turn a 1/2 from full closed but will probably need trimming once running. These settings assume all other parts are ok ie. float needle, slide wear, etc. GC
