1973 original shocks

are they rebuildable? I just took the springs apart from the shocks and one shock is a little weak. My plan was to just clean them and put them back together, but... Are new ones available? These have no shroud on them. Thanks Jerry

Jerry  Most likely you have Girling shocks on your 73.  Girling went out and Hagon bought them and Hagon still offers shocks.  Also, if you watch Evil Bay (Girling) there are sometimes shocks there for sale as now (NOS).  I have found real nice copies (EMGO) offered from British Only and they are new made and look great and work well for a fraction of the cost! < $100 There you have it![^]
