Hi
This is my first visit to your website.
I need some support before I start my restoration of my Penton/KTM 400GS -74.
Could anyone drop me a line to give me a short briefing in what and where I could find my spares. How do you do? do you search by item No or what?
I live in Sweden and am encouraged by the Italian KTM dealear to join your website.
This to start with.
OK?

Hello Klaas, and Welcome to the group. I think you will find a great source of information on this site. There are a number of Penton / KTM experts here, not to mention the great group of people who are here to help each other. As far as parts, there is a list of suppliers on this site as well as E bay. If you search Ebay, search by Penton or KTM in most cases, or by the specific brand name you are looking for. Another fine way to find parts is to just ask on this message board what you are looking for. Again WELCOME and good luck! You will enjoy being here.

Klass,
First welcome to the web site.  You might look on our home page and look under production years.  This will help you see how Penton transitioned to KTM in the USA.  There is also a great book you can purchase and read about John Penton.  This should give you a start.  You can also purchase the book from our suppliers list.  I hope this helps.

Welcome aboard Klaas! If you don't have a manual, that should be your first purchase. If you are sure of your year and model, you can purchase a manual from Al Buehner (listed on the parts supplier section of the home page). Al can't be reached via computer yet but I'm sure someone here can be your contact person. Good luck and again, Welcome!
