painting engine

Im restoring my six day ans well it effect the cooling of the engine if I paint it. should I have any sepecal enamal so it wont burn

  If you don't have your engine apart and don't use a special paint (I suggest PJ1), then you probably don't need to paint your engine.  To answer your question, it will make you engine run hotter.  I normally leave my cyliner and head with no paint for this reason.  Any other questions please ask.
