So, with the news that Al has pistons for early 175s, I tore down the top end of my next project, a 1974 Jackpiner. So far, I've pulled the pipe, carb (dang petrified air boot) and top end. With an existing Elko piston @64mm, I'll need an 64.5 oversize. The bike evidently got parked when the back of the piston broke off. Is this still under warrantee? ;) . Main bearing are shot, rods sloppy, and stuck in gear, this one needs everything. But chassis is OK and everythings there. My 250 got a little overrestored so I haven't ridden it since finished (I know, shame!) so this one will be a runner, not too nice. Should be fun! Dan Pagel
