Just bought a basket case a 1971 Oct built 125 The broken cover says that it is a 1251 6a motor.The bike comes with a compression release? Is this a standard on Sachs motors or was this head drilled for this? Also the bike was left outside with the mag cover off how much of a tear down should i do? Also the forks appear to be frozen any sugestions on how to break them loose or are they done? Thanks for any input

Your compression release is aftermarket.   Sounds like you will need to do a complete tear down of all components, clean, grease and new seals everywhere.
