Last night I had the pleasure of having Bob Peed at my house. It was a joy to have someone to talk to that had been a racer with the same asperations as I. And to think of it... he was in my humble shop.:DBob had a set of purple springs that were in good shape and I had a set of springs that better fit his bike and we struck a deal. We talked and talked until we both realized that it was getting late and today came early. Two hand a half hours we sat... stood in my shop in close proximity to the heater and laughed and shared information and told old stories. Thanks for taking the time Bob, it was great fun. Let me know if you make it up this way again. You are always welcome at my house and if you have some time... let me know Asap and we will go for a ride. Too bad we both did not have more time.:)By the way, thanks for the springs, I was not sure that I thanked you last night..

Thom,
If you see him again please say hi from Tom Benolkin. Three years ago he showed up at an MOVMX race and used his 125 Elsinore to holeshot ALL of us on bigger bikes. He really helped me out on some hard to find parts.
People like him make MX unlike any other sport.:)

Wow!
That is all I can say! I spend so much time on the road(about 45 weeks a year)and after working all day, the rest of that time is by myself during the evenings. Thom,
it was truly my pleasure to have had the opportunity to meet you in person and spend time talking about our passion. Seeing your bikes was such a thrill and the night ended way to soon. I have not enjoyed a conversation more and I thank you! Tommy, you made my day! To remember that race in Missouri a few years back and the thrill of racing against you and Brad Lackey brought me back to that moment. I remember watching you in practice before we met and I was thinking "Who is that guy that is going so fast?". He must be someone famous! After meeting you and discovering your fast past, it was indeed no surprise that you were just flat rocketing around the track! I have not had the opportunity to race in the past year because of work. But this year is different and I will be back racing vintage mx again. Again Thom, thanks for the wonderful opportunity to meet you. And Tommy, thanks for your kind words and if I can help with parts or anything else, let me know. I can be reached at 816-304-7997 or [email protected]. Thanks a million guys. You have truly made my life richer knowing both of you!
