Flavio,

   Unfortunately, that particular ignition is different than any of the other systems out there. It was the first automatic advance and retard ignition that Motoplat made, and there are no other ignitions out there, with the same type of spark pattern.

   You can use a PVL or MZ-B system, but the spark patterns of these ignitions are not the same. The alternates will work, but the engine may not have as much power or as good a power band.

Flavio,

   There was a later version of this particular ignition with the same advance and retard curve, but the keyway in the flywheel was in a different location. Also, the timing pin hole in the stator and flywheel keyway were in a different locations. The model number of this magneto, was 0616028.

   If you are able to spin the 0616016 flywheel on the 0616028 stator, to 10,000 RPM, and mark the different location of the timing hole in the stator, then this combination will work.
