Marzokki (sp?) material

Stupid question - are the sliders made of aluminum or magnesium? It looks like magnesium to me.

The zokes I have seen are magnesium.

Thanks Donny, so what rod do you use to TIG weld them? Anyone know?

Teddy, I think Merlin had a previous suggestion re: Mag welding and posted the gas mixture and PSI setting along with the proper method.....Merlin?? Tom....

Phast Phil Ketchum just had his Zokes welded at Hi Tech Welding in Lee Summit, MO. I called Bill there and he told me they use Thermo Coat Welco ERAZ61A 1/16" magnesium wire to TIG weld with. I have ordered some wire and I will look for Merlins post.
