July 1-2 event in Athens Ohio

Folks,
I am happy to announce that the board of POG has seen fit
to sponsor an event this summer, namely a weekend of bike
related events in Athens Ohio on July 1st and 2nd, 2006.
We are hosting an Ohio Series Flat Track on the 1st, held @
Athens County Fairgrounds, and a National Enduro on Sunday the
2nd. This is our 60th anniversary of the Milk Run Enduro.
(A certain rider with initials JP has his name on the list of
winners,1950-something)
 
I am proud to be part of the Athens Motorcycle Club
and hope to see a few of you this weekend. If nothing else,
come on down, buy a tee shirt and help with a check. We run several
events each year, the Enduro being the main event. Open to all, and
we are including a Sportman class for those who wish to ride w/o
worrying about points and such.
We have also scheduled a bike show and poker run on Saturday for
the 'other' riders, sign up (my designated duty) is running Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday 7-8am.
Bikes WILL be tech inspected and sound tested, make sure your plate is current, and pipe is reasonable (~90db or less)
