SIEGE

hey Everyone

a quiet Sunday Morning. I'm just now finishing the Gallery/points/etc for H&T 2006

I'd like to thank everyone who contested Hammer & Tongs this summer
Above all others I'd like everyone to thank Jim Conway, Lyndell Raphael, Jay Lael & Len Lowery for working so hard to make it happen-  next time you see these guys, tip your hat- or say a kind word-

a great thanks goes to the track owners: Scott Dubrausky at Goldendale, Nick and Bill at Burnt Ridge , Andy James at Spokane.

here are 8 pages of photos, thanks to photographers Nancy Richards, Michale Crooks, Stu Osborn

also results starting with Trials - a huge thanks to Jay Lael, Jim Conway & his family, and everyone who helped. http://www.siegecraftnw.com/H306-A.htm
Hammer & Tongs raised a lot of money for Dale Walters who fell very hard at the Ahrma Race at Spokane, which we can all be proud of- what was the total in the end? Tom? Thom?

Siege, it was a great series and I totally enjoyed racing at three completly different kinds of tracks... I lost track as to the final number but I think it was about 800 bucks that came through the members of vintage Dirt Racing NW. I know that a number of Ahrma members and some from this group also gave generously too.
By the way. on monday of this week, Seige went into the Hospital for emergency appendectomy... (not sure I spelled that right) I spoke to him once this week but have not heard anything more.... It is strange, Siege and I rode to Washougal together and had a great day of racing and then we drove the 4 plus hours home, he seemed fine but was complaining of some stomach pain, I thought nothing of it and figured he was tired and burned out from all that he does for racing here in the Northwest....
