Was doing some research on a 1973 Kawasaki 450 ISDT prototype bike and found some neat photos of the 73' ISDT.

Paul,
   That is Jeff Penton ahead of Dick in the final special test at the 1973 ISDT, as you can see it was a wet and slippery grasstrack event.  Some of the previous pictures that are listed as being taken at the Bad Rock qualifier were taken on one really long and steep hillclimb, it wasn't a timed hillclimb, just part of the trail, but it was quite memerable.

     If you want to view the movie that was made of that Bad Rock qualifier, and see some great footage of that hill, contact Paul Stannard at Strictly Hodaka, he has copies of the Peter Starr produced film, "Bad Rock 73".  They had a helocopter that flew over you as you were riding getting footage, if you are into vintage bikes, events and riders the Bad Rock movie is a must have.
