I am in need of the front axle assembly for a 1972 125 Six Day bike that I am about to acquire.  Anyone have one they can spare, trade or purchase?

I will be at the ISDTRR if you can bring it with you.  You can reach me via email at //[email protected].

I also have the bottom end from a 1976 JP that is available.  Cases have been repaired due to some rot, epoxied & treated with Glypol, crank, clutch, and tranny are all in great shape.  I will bring it to the RR if anyone is interested.

Tony,
I'm taking delivery of a 76 175 Cross Country roller with a locked up engine at the RR. I may be interested in the bottom end if the price is right. Mike

Ric,

I am taking delivery of the 72 125 six day on Wed.  I believe that the forks on a 72 were 35mm, at least they are on my 72 JP.

Gary Ellis also has an axle available, but I am waiting for a response from him.

I will keep you posted as to bringing the axle with you to the RR.

Thanks,

Tony

Ric,

Sorry, my JP has 32mm forks, so I would guess the 125 also has 32mm forks.  Got confused due to age.

Hi Guys,
Thought I should mention, the 4 bolt triple clamps are wider than the 2 bolt and therefore use a longer axle.
