Looking for a small crank, dosn't need a good rod. Needs to have very good surface area where crank seals run. This will be put into a race bike not a garage queen. No pits or rust. Could even live with just the mag side half if nothing else comes available. Not sure if that is a good idea. I wonder if the crank halves need to match each other in weight when they are assembled? Does anyone know if you can mix up crank halves? email [email protected] or call before 8pm pacific (510)481-0554. Thanks in advance for any and all responses, Gavin Housh

You can mix the halves when building the crank, only have to make sure the crank is true/balanced when installing the rod kit or working on the crank.  The seal surfaces can be re machined and plated to original to be good as new also.  Send it to Forest Stahl, Yorktown, IN, he can have it done properly. 765-284-7653 CIAO

Thank you Kip, you are the man. I'll give Forest a call. Gavin
