Missed A 1969 Six Day

Yesterday at approx. 7:45 AM a 1969 Six Day was posted for sale on Craig's list in the Baltimore area for the unreal sum of
$250.00.  I contacted the seller at approx. 8:30 AM and it was already sold.

Someone in the Baltimore area picked up a jewel for little money.  It was all there including aluminum fenders, but it did need work.

Bottom line, there are still some good deals that can be had.

I was lucky enough to get the bike.  It's strong point is it is all there, cracked aluminum fender and all.  The engine was seized solid and I finally found a burned piston, probably the reason the bike was parked in '75.  only 1500 miles on the bike and a lot of surface rust.  I'll be asking for a lot of help as I move ahead with the bike, I plan on bringing it back to life.
