Need everything that goes into the fork tubes.  My fork tubes and fork legs are fine.  The bike sat for 30 years, with the fork compressed somehow and the insides are toast.  email me offline with what you have and how much.

Thanks,
Bill

Thanks, it's on my watch list.  OK everyone, stop bidding!

V1346

$127.50 for the forks.  I was entering a bid for 125 when the auction ended.  It went from 80 to the closing bid in about 2 seconds.  So I guess I'll stoke up the lathe and spin a little aluminum.

Can I put my sliders on these forks?  This is keeping me off the road/trail and I really want to get this bike rideable.

Best,

When you say the insides are toast, exactly what do you mean?  springs sacked out?  If so you can get those from either Betors, Ceriani or even Honda with 35mm correct length.  If the damper rods are shot, which shouldn't be from sitting, again Betors are interchangable sometimes.

The aluminum bushing on the steel rod seems to have flowed over time and expanded so that it locked in the fork tubes on both forks.  The forks were 100% compressed for 30 years and that is not a good thing. I do have access to a lathe and I'm thinking I can make the pieces but it would be better to replace the interior pieces with factory stuff if I can find them.   I have good tubes, sliders and caps.  Everything else I'd like to replace.

I've got a set of good forks off of a steel tank 125.  I'm not sure of the year of the bike but it had a 125 1/5A motor in it. The forks are 35 mm about 6 inches of travel and use a blade type brake anchor.  The forks slide free, and the dampening rods, wafer valves, and pistons are in good shape.   One of the top out springs  looks a bit sagged, the ends are not parallel, but I don't think it will be any problem. I believe you would be happy with them.  $125 plus shipping from Atlanta GA.

Richard,  I would like to buy the forks if they aren't already sold.
